1: Go to [Settings]
2: Select [Account Management] > [Activate as Your Primary PS4]

4: PS4™ systems that were activated as your primary PS4™ system before April 1, 2018, can no longer be deactivated.
Select Account Management
On your Playstation 4 go to Settings. Under “Account Management” select “Activate as Your Primary PS4”. A message will pop up asking if you want to activate the PS4 as primary for your account. Select Yes.

On your PS4 Pro, go to [Settings] > [Account Management] > [Activate as Your Primary PS4].

A message will appear confirming that you have activated your PS4 Pro as your primary system.

To set your primary PS4™ system from your PS4™ system:
1. Go to [Settings] > [Account Management] > [Activate as Your Primary PS4].

3. A confirmation message will appear indicating that the system has been activated as your primary PS4™ system.
How to deactivate your primary ps4
In order to deactivate your primary PS4, you will need to follow a few simple steps. First, you will need to go to the settings menu on your PS4. Once you are in the settings menu, you will need to scroll down to the “Account Management” section. Select Activate as Your Primary PS4
There are two ways to activate your PS4 as your primary system. The first is to do it through the Settings menu, and the second is to do it through the PlayStation Store.
To activate your PS4 through the Settings menu:
1. Go to Settings > Account Management > Activate as Your Primary PS4.
2. Select Activate.
To activate your PS4 through the PlayStation Store:
1. Go to Playstation Store and select Log In from the top right corner of the screen.
2. Enter your account details and select Activate from [Your Name] > Profile on the upper left corner of the screen.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete activation.

On your PS4™ system, sign in to your PlayStation™Network. Go to [Settings] > [Account Management] > [Activate as Your Primary PS4]. To deactivate your primary PS4, go to [Settings] > [Account Management] > [Activate as Your Primary PS4] and select [Deactivate].
Note: If you activated a system as your primary PS4™ system before February 15, 2019, it will remain as your primary PS4™ system until you activate another system.
How to change your primary ps4
You may have more than one Playstation 4 consoles in your home, but did you know that you can only have one primary PS4? The primary PS4 is the console that you have designated as your main console, and it allows you to share digital content with any other user on that console. If you want to change your primary PS4, here are the steps you need to follow.
Go to Settings
There are a few ways to make your PS4 the primary system. The easiest way is to simply go to [Settings] > [Account Management] > [Activate as Your Primary PS4]. This will automatically deactivate your PS4 as primary on any other systems.
Select Account Management
1.From your PS4’s main dashboard, go to the “Settings” icon and select it with your controller.
2.Scroll down to the “Account Management” option and select it with the “X” button on your controller.
3.Once you’re in the “Account Management” menu, go to the “Activate as Your Primary PS4” option and select it.
4.Choose the account that you want to make your primary account from the list that appears on screen
5.After you’ve made your selection, press the “X” button on your controller to confirm your decision
6.Close out of the Settings menu and enjoy using your PS4!
Select Activate as Your Primary PS4
Activating your PS4 as your primary console will allow any user on your PlayStation account to play digital games and use any other content you have purchased, even if someone else is logged in as the primary user. You can activate only one PS4 as your primary console at a time.
Here’s how to do it:
1) From your home screen, go to Settings > PlayStation Network/Account Management.
2) Select Activate as Your Primary PS4.
3) Select Activate.
4) Enter your password, if prompted, and select Done to complete the process.
5) Your PS4 is now set as your primary console.
Select Change
On your PS4 go to [Settings] > [Account Management] > [Activate as Your Primary PS4]. PS Plus games cannot be set as primary, nor can they be shared with other accounts on the same console.
How to know if your ps4 is the primary
In order to check if your PS4 is the primary, sign in to the PlayStation account that you want to make primary. If that account is not already associated with a PlayStation system, follow the on-screen prompts to associate it. Next, go to Settings > Account Management > Activate as Your Primary PS4.

Once activated, your PS4™ console is automatically registered as the primary console for your account. All other users who share the same PlayStation™Network account can use applications and digital content that you purchased from PlayStation™Store without having to purchase them again.
However, note that some applications cannot be used by more than one user at a time.
To check if an application can be used by more than one user at the same time, go to the application detail screen and check for the icon.
Your PS4 console is displayed as the Primary PS4
If your PS4 console is displayed as the Primary PS4 for your account, that means any user on your account can use any apps and games you purchased from the PlayStation Store, as well as any in-game Add-Ons. You will also be able to play digital games and content that you have downloaded on your PS4.
How to activate primary ps4
You need to start at the home screen. The first thing you’ll see is a row of icons across the top of the screen. Scroll over to the icon that looks like a settings cog. It should be the second icon from the right.
